Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before and after sessions.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and wellness practices to support ongoing health.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide a relaxing experience.
- Stay current with industry best practices through ongoing education and training.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and health conditions is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and address client questions.
