Overview

Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to customer preferences.
- Operate the POS system, including TOAST POS, for order entry and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Abide by food safety and handling regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Manage inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Demonstrate basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Proficient in time management to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing; experience with cashiering is advantageous.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members alike.
