About the Opportunity
We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Machine Operator to join our team at TFB located in Brampton, ON Canada. In this role, you will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used in the production and conversion of Fiber (Polyester) products. You will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
You will work closely with team members, supervisors, and maintenance team members to support daily production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Set-up, operate, monitor, and adjust equipment and technology to maximize performance and ensure compliance with production specifications, including entering required data into our computer systems.
- Monitor product quality and make machine adjustments to maintain specifications.
- Perform equipment start-ups, changeovers, adjustments, and shutdowns as required.
- Handle and feed raw materials into machinery and equipment to support continuous production.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate complex issues to the Supervisor or Plant Manager.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to support safety and quality standards.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of machine operating experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience using tools or operating equipment.
- Ability to read and accurately complete production documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Forklift license preferred but not required. Candidates without certification are still encouraged to apply.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
