About the Position
We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and growth-minded Client Solutions Associate to join our team. In this role, you will serve as both the administrative backbone of our agency and a proactive point of contact for identifying client needs.
This position blends high-level office administration and client servicing with a sales component. You will manage existing client files and policy updates while identifying organic cross-selling opportunities, answering inbound product inquiries, and helping our brokerage grow.
Key Responsibilities
Client Servicing & Administration
- Process ongoing policy changes for existing clients, including beneficiary updates, banking/address changes, and coverage modifications.
- Maintain, update, and organize existing client files and CRM databases with the utmost accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and distribute annual policy review letters, premium reminders, and anniversary statements.
- Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and daily administrative tasks for our brokers.
- Communicate regularly with administrative departments at major insurance providers to resolve service roadblocks.
Sales & Business Development
- Review existing client files during routine touchpoints to identify gaps in coverage and highlight organic cross-selling opportunities (e.g., critical illness, disability, or supplementary life coverage).
- Act as a professional first point of contact for warm inbound leads and client inquiries, guiding them toward appropriate insurance solutions.
- Assist brokers by retrieving in-force policy illustrations and preparing initial quotes or marketing materials for client presentations.
- Conduct proactive follow-ups on annual policy review letters to re-engage past clients.
- Provide secondary support for preparing, submitting, and tracking new insurance applications.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Licensing: A valid Life Insurance License in Manitoba (LLQP) is considered a strong asset for this role.
- Experience: Previous administrative or customer service experience, ideally within the life insurance, wealth management, or broader financial services industry.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Sales Mindset: A natural comfort with client-facing communication, a relationship-first approach to soft sales, and the ability to spot client needs.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating CRM databases, carrier portals, and standard office software.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and empathetic demeanor.
