We’re looking for a creative and organized Social Media & Content Creator to manage and grow the online presence of multiple brands at Magic Chest. You’ll own the content pipeline end-to-end, from ideation and design to filming, editing, scheduling, and posting. If you live on social media, love Japanese pop culture, trading cards, anime, and collectibles, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and publish content across all brand accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and/or Facebook
- Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with product launches, promotions, tournaments, and events
- Shoot, film, and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) that capture the energy of our brands
- Design eye-catching graphics and post layouts for announcements, promos, and product features
- Write engaging captions, hashtags, and text-based posts tailored to each brand’s voice
- Monitor comments, messages, and engagement to respond in a timely, on-brand manner,
- Track content performance and share regular insights on what’s working and what to improve
- Stay current on social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and pop culture relevant to our niche
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in digital marketing or social media management, preferably within an e-commerce environment (portfolio/examples of work required)
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or equivalent
- Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Final Cut Pro or similar)
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and/or Facebook content formats and best practices
- Excellent written communication with the ability to adapt tone across different brand voices
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a content schedule across multiple accounts and platforms simultaneously
- Creative thinker who can generate fresh content ideas independently
- Passion and knowledge for trading cards, collectibles, anime, or Japanese pop culture is a strong plus
