SAIL Ottawa is looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to play a key role in operational efficiency and the customer experience within the store.
Reporting to the Department Manager, you act as a trusted right-hand and a hands-on leader for your team. You play a key role in driving operational performance while serving as a reference in customer service and sales.
Your responsibilities
Operations and customer service
- Ensure compliance with the Explore+ program, transactional policies, as well as exchange and return policies
- Act as a reference for department standards and policies, including customer service and health and safety
- Promote and develop a strong customer experience culture
- Support the Department Manager and ensure follow-up on directives in their absence
Warehouse and logistics management
- Coordinate warehouse operations, from product receiving to in-store availability
- Ensure timelines for processing and product availability are met
- Organize the warehouse to remain functional, efficient, and safe, even during peak periods
Team leadership and performance
- Mobilize, coach, and develop team members
- Share the vision of the company and the management team
- Structure and organize work to ensure department objectives are achieved
- Contribute to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs)
