Featuring fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and carefully selected ingredients, each dish celebrates sharing and generosity.
The Host.ess plays a crucial role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. The successful candidate will serve as an ambassador for the restaurant, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. The Host.ess will be instrumental in enhancing the overall success of our guest interactions. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
RESPONSABILITIES:
- Warmly welcome all guests upon arrival and thank them upon departure, ensuring a positive overall experience
- Manage reservations, answer phone calls, and provide accurate information to guests
- Organize and control guest seating according to established procedures
- Set up, maintain, and organize the host stand, menus, and front-of-house areas
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, lobby, restrooms, and designated areas
- Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables as needed
- Deliver room service orders to guest rooms according to established standards
- Provide attentive guest service by responding to requests and assisting with directions or needs
- Maintain strong communication and teamwork with staff and management
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning checklists
- Follow company standards for professionalism, appearance, and guest service
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position
- Flexible schedule with availability on evenings, weekends and holidays
- Strong customer service skills
- Autonomy
- Resourcefulness
- Organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French, both orally and in writing
- Valid work permit required
- Experience in an Italian restaurant or similar upscale environment is an asset
