We are looking for an organized, motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at our Concord head office. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with 1–2 years of experience who is looking to grow their career while supporting employees across multiple locations.
Position Summary
Reporting to senior management, the Human Resources Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day HR functions for all company locations across Canada. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and is passionate about creating a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding
- Maintain employee files and HR documentation
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Assist with recruitment by posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and perform preliminary interviews online and in person, preparing employment offers
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding programs
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
- Support managers with employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary documentation
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee records
- Assist with workplace investigations and HR projects as required
- Track employee training, certifications, and performance reviews
- Coordinate leave administration, including vacation, sick leave, and other employee absences
- Prepare reports and HR metrics for management
- Support payroll by ensuring employee information is accurate and up to date
- Provide HR support to all company locations across Canada
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field
- CHRP designation (completed or working toward) is considered an asset
- 1–2 years of Human Resources experience
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
