WELDER/FABRICATOR
Commercial Doors & Hardware are looking for a full-time position of a welder /fabricator to join our team.
We are a distributor of hollow metal frames, doors and hardware and we have been supplying the construction Industry for 50 + years
The ideal candidate would have skills/abilities that include:
Mig welding experience (preferred not necessary), use of shop power tools, Ability to confidently and accurately measure in imperial and metric system, Ability to work in shop team environment to maintain and complete tasks /projects within scheduled time frames .
Daily Duties involve:
Reading and following shop drawings for project fabrication, Organizing and assembly of materials for daily use ,which involves lifting and moving of hollow metal materials . Cutting , modifying and assembly of hollow metal components , using band saws , jig saws , grinders etc, Mig welding of hollow metal components , Clean up /finishing of components/ assemblies to prepare finished product for shipping , using grinders , drills , body filler , primers etc , Other shop tasks in daily operations , to aid other team members as required.
Wage range and Benefits
Starting $27.50-$30/hr with potential for higher compensation, depending on previous experience and possessed skills , Overtime pay , Yearly Bonus structure, Employee benefits plan, including dental and other extended health benefits .
Typical work week would be 40 hrs , Monday to Friday . Overtime/extra time above regular working hours may be required, depending on shop needs , typically during times of higher work loads
