Prime Automation is seeking an experienced Industrial Control Panel Builder/Assembler to join our growing automation team. This role involves assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting industrial control panels from electrical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and backplate drawings
- Mount and assemble control panel components
- Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wiring
- Perform basic equipment wiring and panel testing
- Troubleshoot panels during power-up
- Complete As-Built documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Communicate build changes with team members
Requirements
- 2+ years of control panel building or industrial assembly experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in automation
