Job Description
We are hiring Construction General Laborers to join our construction team. As part of our crew, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting a variety of construction projects for both residential and commercial work in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform site preparation, setup, and cleanup.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools.
- Perform physical demanding tasks including digging, lifting, and moving heavy objects.
- Support the foreman and crew with any other necessary tasks such as basic installation, framing, concrete work and demolition tasks.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment (e.g., drills, saws, compactors).
- Work in dirty/dusty environments (excavation, concrete, waterproofing, etc.) as required.
- As required, perform work in all weather conditions and while being exposed to outdoor elements: heat, cold, rainy weather, etc.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous qualifying construction laborer experience
- Strong work ethic and the ability to safely handle tools and equipment
- A team-first mindset — able to follow direction, dependable, punctual, and cooperative
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites (mileage expenses will be reimbursed)
