The Canmore Hotel on Main Street is looking for an energetic and personable Bartender to join our lively team. Located in the heart of downtown, our venue is a local favourite and a must-stop for visitors. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love making people feel welcome, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Monitor responsible alcohol consumption and follow all provincial regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately.
Requirements:
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
- ProServe certification (mandatory).
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Alberta.
- A friendly, professional attitude and a team mindset.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and assist with various tasks.
- Good time management skills to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
