Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Food Service Worker to join our team. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring efficient transaction processing and cash handling.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining proper sanitation protocols.
- Provide exceptional guest services by greeting customers, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking, assembling orders, and portioning ingredients.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Uphold food safety standards by following sanitation procedures and proper food handling techniques.
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts.
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or the food industry is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is desirable.
