Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role involves managing guest inquiries, handling reservations, and maintaining smooth front desk operations to enhance guest satisfaction and uphold the hotel's reputation.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain organized records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette, professionalism, and hospitality at all times
- Assist with administrative tasks such as billing, correspondence, and scheduling as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk or hospitality roles is preferred, especially in hotel environments
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of guest services operations and hospitality industry standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
