Job Summary
We are seeking a certified Counterbalance Forklift Operator for a contract/temporary opportunity in Oro-Medonte, ON. This role is ideal for a reliable warehouse professional with 1 to 2 years of forklift, shipping and receiving, and order picking experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
As a Counterbalance Forklift Operator, you will support daily warehouse operations by safely moving materials, picking orders, assisting with shipping and receiving, and using RF scanning equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials.
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including verifying products and preparing items for movement.
- Pick customer or production orders accurately and efficiently.
- Use an RF scanner to track inventory and support warehouse documentation.
- Work with computers and warehouse systems to complete basic data entry or order-related tasks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $22.75 per hour.
- Afternoon shift premium: $0.50 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.
