Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with various food service tasks. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Assist with food preparation and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage cashier duties including basic math calculations, cash handling, and processing transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Support team members during busy periods by serving customers efficiently and maintaining a positive attitude
Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Experience in the food industry or food service environment is beneficial
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
