Senior Personal Lines Insurance Advisor - Team Lead
Location: 590 - Hwy. 33 W #27, Kelowna BC
Job Summary
Johnston Meier Insurance, has an exciting position available for a Senior Personal Lines Advisor, at our Rutland office in Kelowna, BC. This candidate will assist with an existing book of business. If you have a General Insurance Level 2 License and at least five years of insurance office experience specializing in personal lines, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Provide renewal terms and optional quotes when required
- Update evaluators when necessary
- Provide new quotes on all Personal Lines types of business
- Offer additional products to provide Complete Customer Portfolios
- Keep detailed notes on our Computer System at all times (Paperless Environment)
- Keep abeyances updated and current
- Accounts Receivable

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Level 2 General Insurance Salesperson License
- Minimum 5 years of insurance office experience in Personal Lines
- Insurance Company Portal knowledge is an asset - please provide details within your resume/application
- Strong communication skills to apply to underwriters, customers and team members
- Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service
- Flexible in job duties and/or hours as necessary
- Computer skills including working knowledge with Word & Excel
