Our client, an industry leader in transportation and logistics, is seeking a Part Time Shunter to join their team. As a Part Time Shunter, you will be supporting operations at the CA 2- Bridgewater location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Shunter
Location: CA 2- Bridgewater, NS
Pay Range: $21.05 per hour
Shift: 5am to 5:30pm
What's the Job?
- Operate shunting trucks to move freight or other materials within the facility
- Assist in organizing and positioning railcars or trucks for loading and unloading
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations
- Coordinate with team members to facilitate smooth workflow
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment
