Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide exceptional support and care to our clients in a facility setting. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the safety and well-being of individuals with diverse needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care such as dementia support.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications as directed and monitor health status in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Support clients with activities of daily living to foster independence
- Document care provided and report any changes in health or behavior to supervisors
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia care or working with individuals with disabilities
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is highly preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, medication administration, and caregiving best practices
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely
- Valid certification in caregiving or relevant training is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days and evenings as needed
- Commitment to providing respectful, dignified care that promotes client comfort and safety
Pay: $17.46-$18.00 per hour
