Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our team. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and basic cooking tasks
- Support the cooking process by following recipes and kitchen procedures
- Handle food safely and hygienically in accordance with food safety standards
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers
- Support meal preparation during busy service times
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience in food handling, cooking, and meal preparation within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to serve customers courteously and efficiently
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food industry standards
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic cooking skills with a willingness to learn new techniques
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory for motivated applicants
Pay: $17.85-$21.00 per hour
