Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations, while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
Requirements
- Prior restaurant experience with a strong background in food service and guest relations
- Familiarity with POS systems Toast POS is highly preferred
- Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently using OpenTable or similar reservation platforms
- Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor and team-oriented attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
