Duties
- Meet with clients to assess their storage needs and preferences, providing expert guidance throughout the design process
- Use CAD software to create detailed, accurate layouts and visualizations that impress clients
- Present product demos and design proposals confidently, highlighting features and benefits to encourage upselling opportunities
- Manage sales by guiding customers through product options, pricing, and customization choices
- Conduct outside sales visits to prospective clients’ homes or commercial spaces to generate new business opportunities
- Collaborate with renovation and construction teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with project timelines
- Utilize CRM systems for order processing, cash handling, and account management while maintaining organized records of sales activities
- Engage in marketing efforts by showcasing completed projects, participating in promotional events, and building relationships with repeat clients
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize high-end sales while ensuring customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and other design software for creating detailed layouts
- Strong outside and inside sales experience with a focus on high-end clientele and custom solutions
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a solid understanding of renovation, construction processes, and merchandising principles
- Customer service expertise with the ability to communicate clearly in English; multilingual skills are a plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems, cash handling, account management, and basic math for accurate transactions and recordkeeping
- Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, product demos, upselling strategies, and marketing fundamentals
- Basic understanding of construction or renovation processes to coordinate effectively with contractors and builders
