310T Licensed Truck Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused 310T Licensed Truck and Coach Technician to join our maintenance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform safety inspections, preventive maintenance, and Ontario MTO annual inspections on heavy-duty trucks and trailers
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, differentials, brakes (air brake systems), suspensions, electrical systems, and HVAC
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using diagnostic tools and OEM software
- Complete CVOR-compliant inspection reports, repair orders, and maintenance documentation accurately
- Respond to on-road breakdowns and coordinate roadside repairs when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Act standards
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and the maintenance supervisor regarding repair status and unit availability
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certificate of Qualification (required)
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience servicing Class 8 trucks and commercial trailers preferred
- Valid Ontario driver's licence; AZ or DZ class considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of Ontario MTO regulations, annual inspection standards, and air brake systems
- Own basic hand tools; specialized diagnostic equipment provided by employer
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding shop environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety
