Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service of food and beverages
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to safety and quality standards
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and processing transactions
- Handle cash, process payments, and give accurate change using cash handling skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food service by delivering dishes to tables and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and attentiveness
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal regulations
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
