Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide out-of-home care for individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will support individuals in their daily activities, promote independence, and ensure their safety and well-being in a residential setting. Duties
- Assist people with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores
- Support individuals in developing life skills to promote independence and community participation
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed instructions
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each persons needs
- Communicate effectively with those supported, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor peoples health and safety, recognizing and responding to any emergencies or behavioral concerns
- Document care activities and progress notes accurately and timely
- Foster a positive, respectful environment that encourages individuals’ growth and self-esteem
Experience
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in caregiving roles is highly preferred
- Experience with medication administration is desirable
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude and patience are critical qualities for success in this role

Pay: $17.60-$30.90 per hour
