Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Field Service Millwright to perform mechanical installations, repairs, and maintenance on-site at customer locations. This position is open to 3rd or 4th year Millwright apprentices or Red Seal Journeymen, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install agricultural and industrial equipment on-site.
- Mechanical understanding of equipment such as bucket elevators, drag conveyors, augers.
- Knowledge of gearboxes, electric motors, bearings is an asset.
- Welding experience is an asset.
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Work independently in the field, ensuring high standards of safety and workmanship.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with both clients and the internal team.
- Operate service trucks and tools in compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Registered 3rd or 4th Year Millwright Apprentice, or Red Seal Journeyman.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and field experience.
- Agricultural equipment experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to different job sites, and lift heavy materials.
