Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/woman to join our team. This role requires a professional with a strong background in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and the use of hand and power tools. As a key contributor to our projects, you will be responsible for executing complex tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality results across diverse construction and restoration projects.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
- Perform roofing and siding
- Install cabinets, flooring, drywall, and perform carpentry and woodworking tasks
- Execute restoration work including caulking, painting, siding repairs, and general finishing
- Operate hand tools, power tools and other specialized equipment safely and effectively
- Assist in construction estimating by providing accurate measurements and material requirements
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed for material handling and project assembly
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyman/woman in construction and maintenance environments
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Skilled in carpentry (including woodworking), roofing, siding installation, flooring installation and cabinetry
- Handyman experience across multiple trades is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites
- Prior experience working with hand tools and power tools required
Pay: $32.00-$48.00 per hour
