We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any needs promptly
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred; knowledge of food handling and safety standards essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality or restaurant experience is highly desirable; previous serving or food industry background preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential
