We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Static Security Guard to maintain safety and security at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and ensuring a secure environment through vigilant surveillance and proactive security measures. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials and maintaining logs of visitors and personnel
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols
- Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing security best practices
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to ensure safety
Requirements
- Prior experience or background in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques
- Strong observational skills with the ability to detect suspicious activity quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts and work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to pass background checks and meet any licensing requirements applicable to security personnel
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
