We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pizza Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering hot, fresh pizzas to customers in a timely and professional manner. Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver pizzas and other menu items to customers' locations.
- Ensure orders are accurate and complete before delivery.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during each delivery interaction.
- Handle cash or electronic payments when necessary, ensuring proper transaction procedures.
- Assist with moving supplies or equipment within the restaurant or warehouse as needed, including the use of forklifts or other moving equipment if certified.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and work area.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks, including the use of forklifts if certified.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Previous warehouse experience or commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
