Responsibilities:
- Able to drive an 18 Speed Manual Transmission, Super B experience is an Asset.
- Some experience is preferred
- Safely and efficiently operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the truck to ensure its safe operation
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents that occur
Experience:
- some experience is preferred
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment, to load and unload cargo
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures is a plus
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of freight transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or other navigation systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members
