Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard management tools. The Site Supervisor will coordinate between project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, quality control, and compliance with specifications and schematics
- Manage site logistics, including scheduling deliveries and equipment usage
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction estimates to ensure accuracy and feasibility
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for planning and documentation
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
- Oversee budgeting activities related to labor, materials, and equipment usage
- Enforce safety standards and conduct safety meetings to promote a safe work environment
- Prepare reports on project status, delays, or issues requiring escalation
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management practices
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and familiarity with schematics and blueprints reading
- Knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, and quality control procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination among team members and clients
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on safety compliance and team motivation
- Relevant certifications or training in construction management preferred
