Roadbridge Services Ltd. is a Demolition/Construction contractor in the Edmonton Area.
We are currently seeking a Rock Truck Driver for some projects we have in and around Alberta. You must have a clean driver's abstract (provide one) and be safety orientated to join our team. Punctuality, being positive and having great communication is a must.
As a Rock Truck Driver,
- Operate company’s Tri-axle trucks to transport materials from one site to another.
- Perform pre/post trip daily inspections.
- Verifying material loading and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions.
- Plan a trip and obtain required documentation to transport goods.
- Follow all procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Promptly report any accidents, injuries, or mechanical faults to management.
- Perform basic emergency roadside repairs, if required.
- Communicate with dispatcher to organize routing schedules.
- Accurately record truck information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Follow organizational standards – ensure your environment is safe for you and others.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with your supervisors and teammates.
Class 1 Driver Requirements and Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- English speaking
- Valid driver’s license – required
- Previous experience is a must. (2-3 years preferred)
- Capable of lifting to 50 pounds
- Dependable and reliable, easy to communicate with
- Available to work overtime when needed may be asked to work holidays as well
- Comfortable working in adverse climate conditions.
