Power Engineer (Full-Time, Seasonal)

We are currently accepting applications for dynamic, highly skilled, and organized individuals for the position of Power Engineer to join our team at several of our processing facilities in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Position
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Power Engineer will perform their duties with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy, and will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, including troubleshooting and corrective action.
- Operate automated or computerized control systems.
- Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect equipment malfunctions and to ensure plant systems are operating normally.
- Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
Qualifications
- Fourth-class Power Engineer Certificate, with experience within the fishing industry is considered an asset.
We offer a competitive salary and benefit package. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, seasonal position.
