Position: Educational Consultant
We are specifically seeking experienced educational consultants to provide tutoring services for elementary and/or high school students in person in Keswick. This role involves both in-person tutoring and you are welcome to also accept online tutoring students. For this specific role, you mmust be able to provide tutoring for grade 8 math. Therefore, applicants must be able to offer in-person sessions in Keswick. Some exceptions may apply.
*There is also the potential for tutoring opportunities within virtual and in-person movie production sets.
Responsibilities:
As an educational consultant at Engage & Learn, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting tutoring sessions in the client's home, public locations, or through our online platform.
- Providing personalized educational support to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Developing and curating relevant learning materials to enhance the student's learning experience, including utilizing our own curated resources.
- Employing a goal-oriented approach to track and monitor the student's progress, aligned with our company's mission and vision.
- Accurately documenting tutoring sessions according to your working contract and updating our designated hosting platform.
- Utilizing our software to host online sessions, your session reports, and view and manage your schedule.
Qualifications
- Strong tutoring and teaching skills
- Experience working with children
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs

Session Structure:
Tutoring sessions can range from 1 to 2 hours, based on the client's preferences. Our matching process ensures that tutors are paired with students according to their specific needs, areas of expertise, and compatibility. Additionally, there is potential for group lessons, where a tutor may instruct a group of approximately 5 students simultaneously. We aim to line sessions up one after the other so that you can utilize your time better.
Minimum Weekly Commitment:
We require a minimum commitment of 3 weekly client hours from our tutors.
