About the Role
Pause the Mess is seeking a reliable, organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to provide weekly cleaning services for both residential homes and commercial spaces. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming environments.
Responsibilities
The role includes weekly cleaning and organization of both residential and commercial spaces. Key responsibilities cover:
General areas: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, emptying bins, and tidying/organizing spaces.
Kitchens/breakrooms: wiping counters and cabinets, cleaning sinks and appliance exteriors, degreasing stove tops, handling spills, and managing garbage/recycling.
Bathrooms: disinfecting toilets, sinks, and showers/tubs; cleaning mirrors and fixtures; wiping surfaces; replacing towels; and floor care.
Overall, the position ensures that all areas are clean, sanitized, and well-organized, maintaining a professional, welcoming environment.
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Must pass a clean background check
- Must be a non-smoker
- Must be comfortable working around pets (cats, dogs, etc.)
- Must have a valid drivers license and vehicle

In addition cleaning we are looking for someone who is excited to help grow the business and build long-term client relationships. In addition to regular hourly compensation, this role includes a commission-based structure for bringing in new recurring cleaning bookings, creating an opportunity for increased earnings as the company grows.
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
