Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drain Layer with an AR Truck License to join our construction and utility team. This role involves installing and maintaining drainage systems, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring safety and efficiency on job sites. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, experience with various tools, and the ability to operate specialized machinery such as excavators and skid steers. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain drainage systems according to project specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, skid, and rigging gear safely and efficiently.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical experience to complete tasks accurately.
- Operate dump truck and safety float equipment.
- Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Assist in the setup of equipment and materials for various construction activities.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations during operations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs.
- Experience operating excavators, skid steers and other heavy machinery.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools.
- Knowledge of rigging procedures for lifting heavy objects safely.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
- Valid AR Truck License is required for this role. This position requires a dedicated professional with technical skills in heavy equipment operation.
