Responsibilities
The Gemologist's main responsibilities during this contract will be to :
Examine and identify gemstones using microscopes and other specialized equipment
Grade stones based on color, clarity, cut, and carat weight
Write reports documenting gemstone characteristics and appraisal
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Gemology or certification from recognized institutions like GIA or Gem-A

Proficiency with gemological instruments

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and certification in grading standards

Excellent communication skills for client consultation and report writing

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

English and French *Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a regular basis with employees as well as suppliers outside of Quebec.
