Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprint reading, and industrial electrical systems. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including construction, renovation, and industrial installations, utilizing a wide range of hand and power tools. Candidates must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in industrial settings, including low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit bending, panel installation, and other electrical tasks.
- Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades in accordance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovation projects to ensure electrical work aligns with project specifications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used for each project.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman/Woman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and control systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes related to electrical installation and renovation projects.
- Ability to read complex schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Handyman experience is considered a plus for versatile troubleshooting capabilities.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
