We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Plumber & G2 Gas Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and gas-fired equipment in residential, commercial applications. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, customer-focused, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities, Plumbing Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, drains, and water distribution systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Perform renovations, retrofits, and new construction plumbing installations.
- Install and service pumps, water heaters, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and regulations.
Gas Technician Duties
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair natural gas and propane appliances and equipment.
- Service gas-fired boilers, furnaces, unit heaters, water heaters, rooftop equipment, and related systems.
- Perform gas piping installations and pressure testing.
- Troubleshoot gas systems and controls.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all fuel safety regulations.
- Complete required documentation and regulatory reports.
General Duties
- Respond to service calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, suppliers, and team members.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in after-hours emergency service rotation as required.
QualificationsRequired
- Valid Ontario Plumbing License (306A Journeyperson).
- Valid G2 Gas Technician License.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 3-5 years of plumbing and gas fitting experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
Preferred
- G2 Gas Technician License.
- Experience with mechanical systems.
- Working at Heights Certification.
- Lift, Boom Lift, and Scissor Lift Certifications.
- First Aid & CPR Certification.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call rotation.
