Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Dietary Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support meal service and nutritional needs for our Residents. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to Resident well-being while working in a dynamic healthcare environment. Strong organizational and communication abilities.
Duties
- Assist in preparing and delivering nutritious meals to Residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual care plans
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed to maintain safety standards
- Communicate effectively with Care staff, Residents, and other team members regarding dietary needs and restrictions
- Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas and dining spaces
- Support special dietary requests and specialized nutritional plans
- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely meal delivery.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle sensitive Resident information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Mechanical knowledge beneficial for equipment maintenance or troubleshooting tasks
- Demonstrated time management skills to coordinate meal services efficiently
- Certification in food safety or nutrition is a plus but not required
Pay: From $18.10 per hour
