Registered Physiotherapist
Must be able to work as a team member in a fast paced clinic setting.
Duties:
- Assess and diagnose patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement treatment plans through various therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for self-care and injury prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Proficient in conducting physical assessments and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform therapeutic techniques
- Empathy and compassion for patients dealing with pain or physical limitations
Note: This position is primarily based in a clinic setting, providing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions. Secondary work with industry clients in mining and forestry occasionally in remote settings.
