Job Overview
ATS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist (Independent Contractor) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide physiotherapy to patients, focusing on pain relief, injury prevention, and overall wellness.
The Physiotherapist (Independent Contractor) will assist in the management of existing patient base while continuing to take new patients. ATS is an established multi-disciplinary practice (25-years) with a established reputation for high quality standard of patient focused care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing physiotherapy techniques
- Provide hands-on therapy and modalities as indicated
- Educate patients on posture, exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications for optimal health
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records EHR) in compliance with College regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development
Experience
- Valid Physiotherapy Registration in good standing with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health
- Experience in pain management techniques and therapies preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients
- Ability to work empathetically with diverse patient populations and handle multiple cases efficiently
Compensation Options:
- Starting Hourly based rate $50.00-per hour as a Independent Contractor
Clinic coverage minimum 2-3-days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
