We're a family-run takeout spot serving authentic Syrian-style shawarma and Middle Eastern food since 2019. We're looking for a friendly, reliable team member to help keep things running smoothly — greeting customers, supporting the kitchen, and keeping the place clean and welcoming.
What you'll do:
- Greet and serve customers at the counter with a warm, welcoming attitude
- Take orders, handle the POS, and package takeout and delivery orders accurately
- Help the kitchen with basic prep (chopping, portioning, restocking)
- Keep the front, dining area, and workstations clean and tidy throughout the shift
- Wash dishes and handle general cleanup
- Restock supplies and help wherever the team needs an extra hand
What we're looking for:
- Friendly, customer-first attitude — you're comfortable talking to people
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to pitch in on whatever needs doing
- Able to keep up in a fast-paced takeout environment
- A team player who fits a family-run setting
- Must live close to the restaurant (South Etobicoke / nearby) — short commute is essential for reliability
- Arabic-speaking a plus
- No experience required — we'll train the right person
- Food Handler Certification an asset (or willingness to obtain)
