Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Sprinkler Technician/Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems across various commercial and industrial sites. Duties
- Install, assemble, and fit fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of sprinkler systems to guarantee optimal performance
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other mechanical tools to measure, cut, thread, and assemble piping accurately
- Apply rigging skills for lifting and positioning heavy components safely during installation or repairs
- Troubleshoot system issues using mechanical knowledge and schematic diagrams to identify faults quickly
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Sprinkler Technician or Fitter with relevant industry credentials
- Proven experience in manufacturing or construction environments involving plumbing, piping, or fire protection systems
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics with precision
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as calipers, wrenches, pipe cutters, and measuring devices
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and system layouts
- Experience with rigging procedures for lifting heavy components safely
- Knowledge of maintenance practices related to fire suppression systems or similar mechanical systems is a plus
- Construction experience or background in manufacturing is highly desirable

Pay: $40.00-$65.00 per hour
