Bragg Resources a member of the Oxford Food Group located in Debert, Nova Scotia. Bragg Resources is an operating tree seedling nursery that produces approximately six million seedlings annually for reforestation.

Position Scope:
The Nursery Forest Nursery Labour position is mainly responsible for thinning and transplanting recently germinated crops in the greenhouses, the position plays an active role in ensuring that high crop quality is maintained. Other responsibilities may include weeding, rouging crops, and cone picking later in the season.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Thinning and transplanting crops in greenhouses.

Weeding crop and surrounding area.

Rouging established crops outside.

Helping in other crews as needed.

Cone picking in the orchard.
Work Environment & Physical
-
On-site greenhouse environment

Lifting up to 16 kg (35 lbs).

Use of personal Protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Work in extreme weather conditions, including heat and rain.
Qualification & Experience
-
Occupational First Aid License is not a requirement but would be considered an asset.

Training
On the job training will be provided to the right candidate.
