Summary

This role involves inspiring students from Grade 1 to 3 within a supportive environment that emphasizes responsibility, initiative, project based learning and social development. The position is based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.'
Responsibilities
' Design and implement engaging Montessori-based lessons for elementary students.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages social and academic growth.
- Assess student progress and tailor instruction to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Maintain classroom organization and manage time efficiently.
- Support the development of core values and social awareness among students.'
Qualifications
Montessori Elementary 1 Diploma from a MACTE* training institute (Lower Elementary)
Proven experience in Montessori Elementary 1 classroom
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong communication skills in English
- Strong knowledge of Montessori materials, lessons and follow up work for the Lower Elementary Level.
- Knowledge of modern educational tools and technology integration.
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse needs.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Relevant certifications in First Aid, CPR-C,
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Passion for fostering social-emotional development.
