Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Butcher’s Assistant / Cleaner. This role is essential to keeping our shop clean, organized, and running efficiently while supporting the butchers with day-to-day tasks.
No experience is necessary — we are willing to train the right person. This position has strong potential to grow into a long-term career in the meat industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Packaging, labeling, and stocking products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas
- Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and surfaces
- Assist butchers with basic prep tasks as needed
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of lifting, standing, and repetitive tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
