We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction, maintenance, and operational tasks to ensure smooth project execution and site safety. Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site
- Perform general cleanup and site maintenance to ensure safety and organization
- Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks such as carrying tools, setting up work areas, and preparing materials
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely under supervision
- Help with site preparation, including digging, lifting, and moving materials as needed
- Contribute to a team environment by communicating effectively and completing assigned tasks efficiently
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings as part of the hiring process
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Must have reliable transportation
