Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting and handling items efficiently and safely, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving, along with strong communication skills and physical stamina.
Duties
- Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, equipment, or other items to designated locations
- Operate commercial vehicles CLASS 5 moving trucks, following all safety protocols
- Assist customers with their moving needs, providing professional and courteous service
- Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Follow all safety guidelines and traffic laws during transportation
Experience
- Prior experience in moving, or commercial delivery preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and safety standards is advantageous
